Technology in Government & Public Sector Summit 2010
Squiz will be exhibiting at the Technology in Government and the Public Sector Summit that annually attracts the most senior‐level IT professionals from federal, state and local government. The Summit runs for two days 9-10 August at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra. CIO’s and Heads of ICT from major Government organisations meet here to learn about and discuss the very latest and future developments for information and communication technologies in all levels of Government nation‐wide.
Funnelback and Squiz will exhibit and present cutting edge presentations on the role of IT in delivering effective government services that demonstrate real return on invested capital. Delegates are senior level IT managers and directors looking to gain insight into IT best practice. With over 43 separate departments registered at the 2009 event, we are confident of a strong line up of networking and learning opportunities in this year’s event.
Timing and relevance for this year’s Summit is especially significant given the Federal Government's plans to roll out the long awaited NBN. Add to this the ever growing importance of green ICT; the pending overhaul of Australia's innovation system; increasing use of smart technologies……… and you have the recipe for a very compelling Summit.
