Squiz Community Advocate 2010
Squiz Advocate Elections - Your Vote Counts!
This year Squiz is proposing a brand new initiative that will directly benefit the greater Squiz community in a significant way. We are giving all conference delegates the opportunity to nominate and subsequently elect a Squiz Community Advocate to represent the needs of the Squiz user community. We’ll give the nominated candidate one year to spend AU $100,000 with Squiz on anything that will help the community most.
More than simply adding new functionality to our software (though you can) we hope that your advocate will look at the big picture and consider things like having new training resources developed, maybe creating new community content, funding user group meetings or spending time with Squiz Labs to brainstorm new ideas.
The only people eligible to vote for Squiz Community Advocate will be delegates attending the conference though nominees don’t have to be present. We’re excited about this new initiative and hope you are too. If you know someone (and it could be you) who would make a good candidate, complete the online form or contact me directly.
