The enormous power and flexibility under the hood of MySource Matrix is ready to use "out-of-the-box". It does not require users to program the system; rather all functionality can be configured through graphical user interfaces displayed in garden variety web browsers like MS Internet Explorer and Firefox. Because it is entirely browser based, MySource Matrix is compatible with a wide range of Standard Operating Environments (Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX).
MySource Matrix does not require content authors to understand HTML or the mechanics of web scripting. System Administrators can create new users with complete control over security permissions (down to the paragraph level), create workflow and metadata schemas, and restructure and entire site by point and click. MySource Matrix will automatically rebuild all menus and ensure link integrity is maintained.
MySource Matrix separates content from presentation through the use of CSS based ‘design templates’ to define the layout and look-and-feel of pages. This gives the greatest flexibility when coding a site to meet W3C web standards and WCAG accessibility guidelines. MySource Matrix supports WCAG conformance level A (satisfies priority 1), Double-A (satisfies priority 1 and 2) and Triple-A (satisfies priority 1, 2 and 3) and produces valid W3C XHTML 1.0.
Rest assured that MySource Matrix is also totally accountable with full versioning of all assets. The system automatically stores all changes to each asset, when the change was made and by whom. Appropriately authorised users may view the history of the system, or asset, or group of assets (sites) and roll-back to view information from a specific point-in-time in the past.
