Credit Union Australia (CUA) has outsourced the development and hosting of its new web site to open source specialists Squiz in the first of a series of initiatives aimed at achieving a more agile approach to IT.
Under the multi-year deal, Squiz will host the credit union's online banking web site and provide 24x7 monitoring and support.
"There has obviously been a great deal of due diligence on the processes at Squiz, which has some major clients in business and government. We found [Squiz] could offer a different level of support and monitoring, and the ROI stacks up well." CIO, David Gee recently told ITnews.com (read more) -

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is the Australian Government agency managing the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park so it's protected for the future. This exciting web project saw Squiz introducing new user-friendly design, custom search of news, Report-An-Incident functionality, and ESRI mapping integration allowing user interactivity with map layers.

NICTA (National ICT Australia Ltd) was founded in 2002 and has grown to become Australia’s largest organisation that is dedicated to ICT (Informationand Communications Technology) research. Squiz applied newly designed templates across the existing site to introduce a new look and feel, added interactivity, increase the brand presence and improve new areas of functionality both on the front end and the back end.

MPG was established in 1913 as a nine-hole golf course and has developed to become one of Sydney’s prized locations conveniently located 5 kilometers from CBD. This project saw an Overhaul of the look and feel of the existing MPG site, factoring six key consumer groups whilst ensuring the essence of the brand was maintained.
